“…What are we to make of a student who has spent 15 to 20 years studying academics without ever considering God’s relationship to these fields of knowledge? Does this kind of education not actually imply that God is not the source of all knowledge and truth?”

A recent article at The Federalist offers Christian parents a historical perspective of the academic and spiritual value of classical Christian education. If God is the source of truth as the Bible claims, then what true education could be found outside of Him? Approaching education from this perspective transforms what, without Him at the crux, may be a rote absorbance of facts rather than a daily marvel at the wonder of the world. “…The goal of education,” author Aaron Ames notes, “[is], properly speaking, not an increase of information but an increase of imagination.”
