Some wonder about the seemingly odd matchup between classical education and Christianity. Classical Christian education integrates history, philosophy, and theology, art and other subjects into a truth system based in the real world. Christians, more than any other group, can appreciate the real connection we have to the ancient civilizations of Egypt, Babylon, Assyria, Persia, and yes, the Greeks and Romans. Our scriptures engage real-world events and ideas that built the West.
